Under
the trade name COX White Oil 40, MERKUR manufactures technical white
oil for ourcustomers. Technical white oil consists of highly refined
mixtures of hydrocarbons. It is a clear, barely fluorescent and
virtually odourless product of technical purity.In the creams and
polishes industry technical white oil is used primarily as a solubiliser
and/or liquid hydrocarbon base in the manufacture of creams and
polishes substances for leather care. Technical white oil possesses
a consistently high quality and good colour and oxidation stability.
The product is not subject to special labelling requirements, and
is generally recognised as safe. If used as intended, it is not
known to have any skin irritant, allergenic or toxic effects.
