Peiner grabs are available in many different variants and sizes, for every lifting appliance for every field of application. Since the load-carrying equipment is a decisive factor for the speed, the efficiendy, the security and the environmental proteciton and directly affects the output of a handling plant.

PEINER grabs are available for use in ports, marine applications, stevedore companies, steel works and smelting plants, scrapyards, refuse handling plants, (recycling plants and incinerators), as well as plants for the exploitation of raw materials, forestry operations and sawmills.

Electro-hydraulic clamshell grabs for the economic handling of bulk material in factories and ports as well as on board ships. (MZG, MZGL, MTG and MTGL)

In stationary conveying plants or on mobile lifting appliances PEINER electro-hydraulic clamshell grabs take care of the handling of bulk material of any kind. Rehandling and trimmer grab designs meet all the handling conditions of standart, marine and submarine applications.

The lighyter series MZGL permits to completely exploit the safe working load of harbour cranes, deck cranes and other single-rope lifting appliences. In case of heavy bulk materials, grab types with spill plates will reduce the contents so that the grab once again is adapted to the cranes's safe working loaed.

When loading flowing and pulverous bulk materials, dust covers and lip seals contribute to the requirements of enivornmental protection. Losses from spillage are excluded.

Grabs of the MZG series mainly find their proper field of application under the rough conditions of industrial enterprises, plants for the exploitation of raw materials and ports. The possibilities range from the exploitation of gravel up to the handling of ore.

The MTG / MTGL grabs are most suitable for the handling of coarse-grained bulk goods that are hardly seizable. For the discharging of drop hammer pits and for the residual trimming of ships, it has the right spread.
